AI Source Influence Index
Updated September 2026

Which sources influence AI responses the most?

AI models like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini draw knowledge from specific websites and sources. These are the platforms that have the greatest influence on AI-generated responses, ranked by global influence score.

What is the influence score?

The influence score (0 to 100) measures how much a source shapes AI model outputs. It factors in how frequently the source is cited in training data, how often AI responses reference information from it, and the source's domain authority. A score of 80+ means the source has a very strong influence on what AI models say.
