Mentova can run campaigns and source crawls on a recurring schedule so your visibility data stays current without manual effort. Automation features are available on PRO and above.
Scheduled campaigns
Instead of launching campaigns by hand, you can configure a frequency per brand. The Mentova cron job runs every day at 6:00 UTC and automatically launches a campaign for any brand whose scheduled interval has elapsed.

Setting a campaign frequency
- Open the brand you want to automate.
- Click the Settings icon in the sidebar.
- Go to the Schedule tab.
- Select a frequency from the dropdown.
- Save your changes.
Scheduled campaigns use the same model and prompt settings as your last manual campaign. Credits are deducted at the time each campaign runs. If your credit balance is insufficient, the scheduled run is skipped and no credits are consumed.
Auto weekly analysis
The Auto weekly analysis toggle (autoWeeklyAnalysis on the brand) is a shortcut that enables weekly scheduled campaigns and pairs them with the weekly digest email alert. Turning it on is equivalent to setting the campaign frequency to weekly and enabling the weekly digest alert at the same time.
This toggle appears on the Schedule tab in Settings.
Source analysis schedule
In addition to campaign scheduling, Mentova can automatically re-crawl your AI citation sources. The frequency is configured separately per brand via the sourceAnalysisFrequency setting on the Schedule tab.
Source analysis runs independently of campaigns. It refreshes the data on your Sources page - the list of URLs, forums, and knowledge bases that AI models reference when generating responses about your category.
Stale campaign cleanup
If a campaign gets stuck in a processing state (for example, due to a transient API error), the system automatically detects and cleans up stale jobs every 15 minutes. Any credits reserved for unfinished prompts are refunded to your balance automatically - no manual action needed.
Tip: Weekly digest emails are sent every Sunday at 8:00 UTC, independent of your campaign schedule. Enable the digest in Settings → Alerts to get a weekly summary regardless of how often campaigns run.
