A campaign is a single round of analysis: Mentova sends your prompts to every selected AI model, collects the responses, and extracts the brands mentioned. Launching a campaign is the primary action that keeps your visibility data fresh.
When to launch
Launch a campaign whenever you want an up-to-date snapshot of how AI assistants talk about your brand. New campaigns layer on top of previous ones - your charts and KPIs update automatically after each run.
If you prefer automated runs, configure a schedule in Settings → Schedule (PRO and above).
How to launch
- Open your brand's main dashboard.
- Click the Launch campaign button in the top-right area of the page.
- A dialog opens with two tabs: Quick and Custom.
Quick tab
Appears once you have at least one previous campaign. It replays the last campaign's exact settings (topic, number of prompts, models, avatar) with a single click. Useful for routine refreshes.
Custom tab
Lets you configure every parameter:
1. Topic (if you have more than one)
Select a specific topic from the dropdown, or choose All topics to run across every topic at once. The "All topics" option always uses random prompt selection.
2. Avatar
Choose an audience persona to inject into prompts. Three preset personas are available on every plan (Alex 20, Marie 40, Jean 60). Custom avatars (PRO_PLUS and above) can be created in Settings → Avatars.
3. Prompt selection mode
- Random - Mentova picks a random subset of your prompts. Set the count in the field below.
- Manual - Check individual prompts from the list. Pinned prompts appear at the top.
4. Prompt count (random mode only)
Enter how many prompts to run. The field automatically caps at what your remaining credits can afford.
5. Credit cost
The cost summary below the count field shows prompts × slot cost. Standard model classes cost 1 slot per prompt; premium classes (GPT-4o, Claude Sonnet, Gemini Pro, etc.) cost 3 slots. Your remaining credits are displayed alongside the max affordable count.
After you click Launch
The button changes to Processing and a status bar appears at the top of the dashboard. Results update progressively as each model responds - you do not need to stay on the page.
Tip: If you run out of credits mid-campaign the remaining jobs are skipped. Buy additional credits in Dashboard → Upgrade to top up.
