Share links let you give external stakeholders - clients, executives, or partners - a live read-only view of your brand's AI visibility data, without creating a Mentova account for them. Share links are available on PRO and above.
Creating a share link requires the ADMIN role on the brand. Team members with VIEWER or EDITOR roles can see existing links but cannot create or delete them.
What the recipient sees
The shared page (served at /s/[token]) is a stripped-down, read-only dashboard that includes:
- KPI cards (mention rate, share of voice, total prompts)
- Visibility trend charts
- Competitor leaderboard
The page displays "Powered by Mentova" branding in the footer. Recipients do not need a Mentova account to view it. The page is rate-limited to prevent abuse.
Creating a share link
- Open the brand you want to share.
- Click the Settings icon in the sidebar.
- Go to the Sharing tab.
- Click Create link.
- Optionally add a label (e.g. "For Q2 client report") to identify the link later.
- Optionally set an expiry date - after this date the link stops working automatically.
- Click Generate. The link appears immediately and can be copied to your clipboard.
Send the /s/[token] URL to anyone you want to give access. No login is required on their end.
Revoking a link
- Go to Settings → Sharing on the relevant brand.
- Find the link you want to remove.
- Click Delete next to it.
The link stops working immediately. Anyone who has the URL will see a 404 page.
Tip: Use labels and expiry dates to stay organised across multiple clients or reporting periods. Set an expiry date equal to the end of a reporting quarter so links automatically become inactive without manual cleanup.
